Our Services
Every repair is a conversation between the vessel, the material, and time. Some pieces ask only for a delicate mend along a hairline crack. Others arrive in fragments, requiring layers of care and patient rebuilding.
I practice hon-kintsugi — traditional Japanese ceramic repair — where each stage of the process has its role. Adhesives bind what was broken, fillers rebuild what was missing, smoothing layers quiet the surface, and finishing layers prepare the vessel to shine again. The final touch may be gold, silver, or another metal — a luminous reminder of the quiet work beneath.
Because each stage of the repair must cure in its own time, restoration is measured not in days, but in weeks or months. Every commission is unique, shaped by the vessel’s condition, the materials required, and the rhythm of repair.
If you would like to restore a cherished piece, please contact me with details. Together we can begin the conversation.
