Hands + Table
Not every gathering at Ma-Kōbō begins with a broken bowl.
Throughout the year I occasionally invite people to spend time around a table, making something with their hands, sharing a meal, and enjoying the quiet pleasure of creating together.
Sometimes we bind books. Sometimes we stitch. Sometimes we explore incense, paper, fermentation, or seasonal crafts. The activity changes, but the intention remains the same: to slow down, make something with care, and leave the table having shared more than a meal.
Some gatherings begin with craft. Most end with conversation.
